Third Entry: Week of 3 Feb – 9 Feb

- What did you do this past week?
I worked for twenty hours and completed all the tasks my boss assigned to me. I finished the hackerrank part of the Collatz project. I read an existentialist book called The Fall by Albert Camus. I watched Birds of Prey at an advanced screening hosted at the union. I played tennis and basketball with some friends.
- What’s in your way?
The Doxygen and HTML part of the Collatz project is still in my way because I don’t really know what we should do about them. My Computational Brain class paper and my algorithm homework are also in my way.
- What will you do next week?
I will finish the Collatz project first. And then I will do my algorithms homework. I also need to do some reading for my Existentialism class. I have a paper due on Friday for my Computational Brain class so I’ll work on that from Tuesday to Friday. I also need to buy birthday gifts for two of my friends, whose birthdays are both on Valentines’ Day.
- What was your experience of exceptions, references, and consts? (this question will vary, week to week)
Since I took Software Engineering with Professor Downing, I am pretty familiar with the concepts of exceptions, references, and consts that Professor Downing went over in class since he already taught us similar stuff in Software Engineering.
- What made you happy this week?
It made me happy that I got to spend time with my friends this weekend. I bought a new board game called Secret Hitler and I played it with my friends. Everybody loved that game. I also went out on a sunny Saturday afternoon with my friends to play tennis and that was fun too.
- What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My pick-of-the-week is an app called Splitwise. This app helps you to split the cost when you go out with your friends. It is extremely useful when you go on a trip with your friends and want to keep track of who owes whom how much and where you have spent your money on.
